Creative direction is, for me, the ultimate consolidation of my talents, disiplines and personality traits. By combining my knowledge of the production process, the creative process and the care and feeding of artists with diplomacy, patience and the appropriate level of urgency, I've found that disparate individuals of raw, specific and (sometimes) underdeveloped talents can be brought together as one. Organization, respect for the individual, focus on the final goal and straightforward communication on all levels of the process ultimately leads to the best possible product. It also creates a sense of community and teamwork that spills over to future projects. As time passes the efficiency, experience and desire to exceed expectations are internalized.
